About Muhammad Hafeez

After graduating from Hailey College of Commerce in I started my career as Corporate Officer at Kohinoor Sugar Mills Limited, a public listed company in Lahore where I spent about 7 years and got thorough understanding of statutory returns of the company, share accounting system, listing regulations of stock markets, compliance with Code of Corporate Governance, conducting board meetings, financing documentation, handling matters related to SECP and Company Registration Office. I did MBA-Finance from Institute of Management Sciences, Lahore in 2008 and I joined Taavun (Private) Limited as Staff Officer to the Group Chief Financial Adviser of Abu Dhabi Group. Associating with higher management gave me a great learning opportunity to further polish my communication and management skills. We were mainly involved in negotiating with banks, making feasibility reports for group companies, conducting financial research, ensuring compliance and making financial presentations for head office in UAE. I left Taavun in 2012 due to status-Que position of the main project (Mabarak Center). Presently (since July 2012), I am working as Finance Manager at Matrix Sourcing (One of the largest textile buying houses of the country). Here I am responsible for preparing accounts using Sage ERP (AccPac 6.0), calculating staff salaries & benefits, budgeting, funds management, parties payments and preparing analysis reports for higher management. I am highly adaptable, positive, resilient, patient risk-taker who is open to new ideas. You will find me dependable and a responsible contributor who is committed to excellence. I am an excellent listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
