About Muhammad Hashim

I hold an advanced degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA) with over 12 years of progressive professional experience in UN-Cluster and Coordination System, Humanitarian Emergencies and Responses, DRR/Climate Change Adaptation in Afghanistan, Private Sector Development, Return, Reintegration and Resettlement (via establishing business setups, technical vocational trainings, psychosocial counselling etc… to voluntary and non-voluntary returns to Afghanistan), and Women and Girls Empowerment and gained enough technical expertise in Coordination, Program Development and Project Implementation. I am experienced in developing and conducting training courses, events, workshops, and conferences and resolving conflicts at different levels. I also possess extensive experience in project design, budgeting, reporting, project review and mainstreaming cross cutting issues, accountability to affected people and establishing feedback mechanism as per context. Additionally, I have been serving as focal point/liaison for DFA line authorities for all kinds of cluster related coordination activities. During my year out, I was employed by UN Agencies and International Organizations for different roles which make me more relevant to the proposed roles and further encourage me to meet the requirements and contribute enough to the organization as Emergency Officer. Relevant to the announced roles, I have over 8-year experience, particularly in the field of Coordination, Program Development, Project Management and Implementation and Reporting covering emergencies (Natural Disasters as well as conflict induced emergencies), DRR and Reintegration. Overall, possessing more than 12-year experience, allows me to work with strong professional expertise and undertake any role at managerial level. I have been part of the key technical personnel, working on key technical documents including proposals, business plans, SoPs for assistance modalities, diseases outbreak e. g. and different guidelines, which makes me more confident to further lead the responsibility effectively at organizational level and have the courage to properly represent organization at all forums or events. Additionally, I have been serving as focal point/liaison for DFA line authorities for all kinds of cluster related coordination activities.
