About Muhammad Hasnain

As a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University, my research focuses on developing and applying generalizable Graph Neural Network (GNN) based architectures to model multiphysics heat transfer and fluid flow problems. This work is supported by rigorous validation against high-fidelity CFD simulation tools such as OpenFOAM and inhouse Finite Element and Finite Volume based models. During my MS at Georgia Southern University, I specialized in numerical modeling and simulation in energy conversion and storage technologies, as well as fire safety applications. I developed in-house numerical models for heat and mass transfer in reactive porous media and contributed to mathematical modeling of hydrogen storage systems and thermal management in batteries. With a strong foundation in physical modeling, numerical methods, and scientific computing, I am committed to advancing scalable and accurate solutions for engineering challenges.
