About Muhammad Malik
I am currently a practicing non-invasive cardiologist with a special interest in cardiovascular imaging. While maintaining a very busy clinical practice, I grew and developed a large cardiovascular group in central Illinois. In 2008, with the sale of our practice, I became the Chief Medical Officer and was the main facilitator of transitioning the practice from private practice to an employment model. In the course of doing this, I obtained my Certified Physician Executive credentials from the American Association of Physician Leadership. In August, 2015, I completed a Masters in Science in Health Management at UT Dallas. I am now using all of these skill sets and enjoying practicing at St. Thomas Heart in Murfreesboro in central Tennessee.
