Background

About Muhammad Rafly Ritonga

I am a software engineer who focus on backend engineering—designing systems, building APIs, and making sure everything runs the way it’s supposed to under the hood. Most of my experience comes from the banking and telecommunication industries, giving me hands-on experience with high-availability system, microservice architecture, reliability, and secure API development. I work mainly with Go, Javascript (Node.js, Bun), Python, and PHP. Designing clean architectures, solving problems, managing cloud storage, and working with SQL/NoSQL databases. Beyond backend work, I actively build in adjacent areas that strengthen my end-to-end technical capabilities: • DevOps & Infrastructure: Containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring. • Data Engineering: ETL pipelines, data modelling & workflow, and data warehousing. • AI & System Integration: Building AI models and integrating AI models into real application products. I am still growing as an engineer, approaching each project with curiosity and enthusiasm, paying attention to details and issues that really matter while continuing to learn to build mature systems that evolve over time. I enjoy creating practical and truly useful things using clear thinking and a collaborative mindset.
