About Muhammad Ramzan

I am Associate Mechanical Engineer with more than three years of mechanical maintenance and fabrication. After completing my 3 years’ diploma of associate engineer in Mechanical from a well reputed college in Pakistan, I have done 2 years’ apprenticeship training from Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited Karachi, Pakistan. During my apprenticeship, I got theoretical and practical experience in mechanical maintenance of different types of pumps (Positive Displacement & Dynamic), compressors (Positive Displacement & Dynamic), gas turbine, steam turbines (Impulse and Reaction), gear boxes (Reduction and Induction), induced draft and forced draft fans, conveyor belts, screw conveyors, mechanical seals, crushers, rotary drums, screens and scrapers. Also performed maintenance and fabrication activities on tanks, pressure vassals, pipelines, ducts, heat exchangers, and valves. I also experienced in Poly propylene fiber reinforced plastic (PPFRP), rubber lining, valves refurbishment and hydro testing. The above mentioned experience is in both of the refurbishment and replacement. I was involved in safe rigging up to 12-ton multistage centrifugal compressor casing. I am experienced with scaffolding erection, inspection and working on it. I have performed and supervised hot jobs like cutting, welding, grinding on a petrochemical running plant. I was supposed to attend weekly safety training held at plant site. I was awarded with the additional responsibility of issuing the material, tools and other equipment required for a specific task.Now I'm working at ASG METALS LTD KARACHI as a mechanical technician.I am good at communication skills. Both oral and verbal. Having a good knowledge of computer and internet. I am professional in writing documents and emails. Having experience with Microsoft Office. During my apprenticeship I got the experience of using SAP too.
