Background

About Muhammad Rizki Ramadhani

I was born in the island of Biak, Papua, in the easternmost part of Indonesia. I spent all my childhood and basic education there. It is my nature to be competitive and curious for new knowledge. That is why I often represent my school for multi-disciplinary competition both in local and national level. I have achievements in Math and Natural Science contest during my high school. With these experiences, I was very lucky to pursue my higher degree in University of Indonesia, one of the best university in Indonesia, Asia, and in the world. While working on my bachelor degree, I understand that in order to become great, formal knowledge inside classroom is not enough for career development. I try to gain more experience through social activities and community development along with my study. One of my best achievement is when I became student of the year in Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Indonesia in 2006 which is the achievement for student with good academic achievement together with active effort in social activity. I was a volunteer for South East Asia Tsunami Relief team that time, stationed in Aceh for 2 weeks. With my basic education and also my hobby to be active in social activity, I always challenge myself to work and contribute in company or places with strong scientific field but with global and diverse culture. I always try to improve myself by learning new culture, new language, meet new people, and travel around to know more about global environment. Special for traveling, I have experience backpacking in 5 continents (Asia, Europe, Australia, North & South America). I consider myself as an open-minded, fast learner, and communicative person.
