About Muhammad Safder

I Muhammad Safder was born in Sabaiwala, a remote village of Muzaffargarh, Pakistan on April 7, 1982. I passed matriculation in 1997 and H.S.C. in I obtained my B.Sc. degree from Govt. S.E. College Bahawalpur followed by M.Sc. in Chemistry from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur in the year 2005. Here I enhanced my knowledge in chemistry and vigorously participated in co and extracurricular activities. Then I moved to Karachi to join HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry, University of Karachi which is the most prestigious national institute for chemical and biological sciences. I was awarded HEC indigenous fellowship for Ph.D. programme in 2007. During this period, I was sent abroad by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan to visit University of Palermo Italy under International Research Support Initiative Programme (IRSIP) for eight months. My stay at Italy was very productive both socially and academically. I learned a lot about chemistry, European culture and especially the Italian language. I published nine papers in international journals of chemistry during my doctoral work. I served the Department of Chemistry, GC University Faisalabad, Pakistan as Assistant Professor. Currently, I am working as researcher in University of Alberta, Canada
