About Muhammad Salahuddin

Muhammad Salahuddin, M.Ed, M.Phil, is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Education, Health and Behavior at the University of North Dakota, USA. My research focuses on faculty research proficiency and research productivity. Now I am working as a Research Analyst at the Bureau of Evaluation and Research Service (BEARS), College of Education and Human Development, UND. I worked in a similar position at the Healthcare Workforce Group at UND. I am also an active member of the Faculty Motivation Research Group (FMRG). I started my career as a journalist with a renowned national daily in Bangladesh when I was a student at the University of Dhaka. After graduation, I switched my career path from journalism to research. Since then, I have been working with different (inter)national, government, and nongovernmental organizations through teaching, research, and training. I have been working as an Education Specialist (R&D) at the National Academy for Primary Education in Bangladesh since 2017. I wrote two books entitled "Action Research for School Level Development" and "50 Years of Education in Bangladesh: Elementary & Secondary Level". My research works have been published in different national and international peer-reviewed journals. I presented posters and papers at conferences and research colloquiums. I have also contributed Op-Eds on education.
