As a dedicated, hardworking, and proactive Chemical Engineer and NEBOSH IGC certified HSE Engineer, I have a strong knowledge about occupational health and safety as well as designing of equipment’s, plant operations, and process safety improvements. With 3.5 years of experience in the HSE field, I have been responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational safety health regulations, maintaining MSDS for chemicals, preparing project safety reports, identifying and rectifying hazards, enforcing company safety rules, and investigating accidents and incidents. Currently working as an HSE Engineer for Transtech Engineering Corporation, I am involved in the construction of the Punjab Thermal Power plant, a 1263MW project in Jhang, Punjab. I conduct daily safety inspections to identify unsafe working conditions, hidden hazards, and unsafe practices and equipment’s, and ensure that health, safety, and environmental policies are followed. In my previous role as an HSE Officer for Interglobe Commerce Pakistan (Private) Limited, I was responsible for making inspections, receiving reports or complaints, conducting investigations, and providing advice and guidance. During my internship at Cherat Cement Company limited Pakistan, I gained hands-on experience in assisting in the production process, gathering and analyzing data related to process, collaborating with other departments, preparing reports and presentations, and adhering to safety regulations. I have a strong command of engineering software such as Microsoft Office, DWSIM, HINT, MATLAB, Pipe Flow Expert, Edraw Max, and Microsoft Visio, and am currently pursuing an MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering. With a FYP on "Adsorption of anionic dye from aqueous phase using hybrid clay," a mini project and poster presentation on "Energy Audit at primer formica factory," and a mini project on "control Air to fuel Ratio in Kiln at Cherat cement factory," I have demonstrated my ability to apply my engineering knowledge to solve real-world problems. In addition, I have completed various courses and obtained certificates in areas such as Engineering Project Management, COSHH Risk Assessment, Excel Expert, Oil & Gas Industry Operations, and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System Awareness. I am ambitious, driven, and passionate about my work and how to get the job done. I am currently seeking an opportunity to utilize my technical skills in a challenging working environment and become a valuable asset to the organization that I work for.
