About Mujtaba Islam

With over 20 years of experience in the architecture, building science, and construction industry, I am a Senior Building Science Tech. at Pinchin Ltd, a leading environmental, engineering, and health and safety consulting firm. I worked as a “Facility Assessor” and have completed numerous assessments of building systems such as foundation, structure, roofing, building envelope, interior finishes, etc. which are compiled into reports for reputed companies in Canada. In my current role, I conduct architectural assessments, design reviews, and condition surveys for various types of buildings and facilities, applying my knowledge of the Building Code, Ontario Building Code, Fire Code, and Occupational Health and Safety Act. I also coordinate and supervise project teams, consultants, and contractors, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget compliance. Additionally, I support business development and client relations, leveraging my excellent communication and presentation skills. My mission is to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions that enhance the performance, durability, and efficiency of the built environment.
