Aviation industry has gained prominence in terms of money, trade and systematization. It is a prime business that has increased manifold with the increase in transportation and communication giving impetus to systematic documentation, organized procedure, efficient operations and detailed follow ups. As a part of Supply Chain management, I have learned the quint essential elements of setting priorities, organize work, manage On Time Performance safely and regular feedback of the service provided. I had the privilege to work as acting Superintendent Cargo Operations, with my prime responsibility was to lead and co-ordinate with inter departments like tracing, acceptance, build-up, breakdown, documentation and ramp services to achieve the highest service standards for dnata’s clienteles. In addition, I have been involved in investigating root cause of incidents/accidents/safety lapses/service failures, taking corrective and preventive measures to avoid any re-occurrence. Furthermore, reviewing the SGHA of carriers when responding to claims and disputes. Also, liaise with key stakeholders to ensure seamless provided to our valued customers. Being part of safety steering committee, I have further developed safety skills to provide successful and rewarding safety culture within operations. I am appreciated for my involvement in Northern Runway Rehabilitation (NRR) and transition of Cargo Terminal Operations (CTO) where my responsibilities were to develop and implement the cargo relocation process/procedures from one terminal to another. Bronze Najm was awarded for Quality Team project on contingency planning to work without Elevated Transport Vehicle (ETV) at Cargo Terminal Operations. With my experience (Emirates Sky Cargo)/Ground Handling Agent) and knowledge, I am certain, I would be able to contribute immensely into a new position with creativity and innovation as well as enhance my understanding of aviation industry to a new level.
