About Mukesh Dewangan

I am pursuing PhD, completed MBA in HR, and graduated in Physiotherapy (BPT). I was worked as Program Coordinator at the State Health Resource Centre (SHRC) Additional technical capacity to Department of Health and Family Welfare Govt of Chhattisgarh. I am primarily involved in program management of the ASHA (Mitanin) Programme along with community-based research activities of the Community Processes team. I have more than 17 years of work experience in community processes. I am placed at the state level and looking after the Community process - ASHA programme, Community Action for Health, Swasth Panchayat Yojna, community-based Monitoring, Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Committee, Maternal and Child Health, HBNC, HBYC, NCD, ASHA certification program, Community Reported Deaths, Mitanin Drug Kit, mentoring of allocated districts and state trainer for community process activities. I am also actively involved in research activities under the community process. I have published 11 journal papers and 3 international conference papers. In 2012 I got the opportunity from UNICEF to implement the MNCH programme in Jashpur district, so I did that work and successfully implemented the MNCH programme in Jashpur district Chhattisgarh.
