About Mukesh Garg

I am an occupational therapist with years of experience, especially with pediatric and neurologically impaired patients. My aim is to put them back into their maximum independent living habitats and enhance the quality of their lives. I have been working in Saudi Arabia under the Ministry of Health (MOH)) since November 2013 and was posted to a psychiatric hospital commonly known as Nakah Hospital for 2 years and 6 months only. This hospital is in Bisha, Saudi Arabia. Here I was in touch with psychiatric cases such as schizophrenia, drug abuse, depression, and mood disorders. Also, I was holding the responsibility for OPD (mainly orthopaedic cases) and impatients, including adult C.P, stroke, hemiplegia, head injury, etc. Now Presently, I have been working with King Abdullah Hospital in Bisha,Saudi Arabia, under the Ministry of Health. Here, I have been responsible for OPD and inpatient care. Here, I have been working as an orthopedic and neuro-occupational therapist. I have been using a biomechanical frame of reference, neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), a client-centered approach, evidence-based practice, occupational science and maintaining the quality of treatment and safety of the patient during the treatment. I also possess an infection control certificate every year, as well as a basic life support certificate. I have done quality improvement projects too. Regularly participating in annual workshops and OT conferences regarding updates in the occupational therapy field. I am using most current occupational theory-based practice, which means current occupational theories with their evidence-based practice. I am always interested in learning new things in occupational therapy. I can work under pressure as well as for long hours. Thank to God, He made me capable of improving the lives of many people and their quality of life through my occupational therapy skills.
