About Muktar Ali

I aspire to become an influential result/objective driven leader, humanitarian worker, excellent coordinator of projects and program designs, implementation, M&E, and coordination of finance, procurement, logistic, HR Management and administration tasks. I have progressive managerial and NGO/INGO coordination level work experience specially for the last four years since i worked in Mercy corps as an Area Manager/Head of office, in Somali Aid and development (SAAD) as Area manager and with RTI International as Regional Process Coordinator, I have designed, manager and coordinated different programs and projects funded by, UNICEF, ECHO, OXFAM, USAID, OFDA, DFID, Dutch, British council, World Bank, Qatar/Kuwait funds and other donors/individuals in good working relationship with donors and at grass root level stakeholders. for the last four years I have grasped better experience in designing and managing different projects in different zones including hard reaching areas. Some of My core duties were included but not limited to- • Program Design, Monitoring and Evaluation and Policy advice and strategic guidance. • Program Coordination, Management, Achievement and Harmonization • Financial, Procurement, Administration, Logistics and HR Management and Compliance, • Staff Management, capacity building, liaison & Representation, Communication & security focal person The projects I coordinated and managed included WASH, Health/nutrition, Agriculture and livestock, DRR/NRM projects, emergency/relief, Education, child protection, legal & psychological support project. Capacity building and other livelihood projects. I have also coordinated finance and operations of the projects I have mentioned above through proper coordination with the concerned line management, government and donors.
