I enjoy General Management and believe that by maintaining good relationship one can achieve the goal. Though I am from Geology background, I feel that practical experience gives better result in terms of managing a critical situation. Associating with an upstream oil company for more than thirty years and discharging responsibilities in various capacities including Head of Exploration and Production, developed more confidence to take on challenges. I enjoy in studying human behaviour and look for utilization of individual’s strength for proper utilization. Experience and skill • More than thirty years of experience in energy sector (ONGC) in various parts of India • Experienced, Qualified, and skilled Geologist in the field of hydrocarbon exploration • Data analysis during drilling e.g. Subsurface cutting analysis to predict high pressure, presence of hydrocarbon, Electrolog analysis, Identification of prospective zones for testing, preparation of testing and reservoir plan • Sick well analysis and preparation of Work-over plan for production gain • Prospect generation by scanning through seismic data interpretation, Geological modeling and reserve estimation • Management of 500+ manpower which include Graduates from premier institutes like NIT/IIT to unskilled people from diverse background and temperament • Supervising/Guiding to sectional heads from HR, Finance, Drilling, Production, Material Management, Engineering Services to meet the assigned target • Handling workers union and maintaining rapport with local administration for smooth sailing of organizational works and to overcome local problems. • Experience of leading the multi-disciplinary team in difficult and hilly terrain • Inventory management budget utilization of more than Rs250 crore yearly • Effectively implementing various schemes under corporate social responsibilities as per government policy • Ability to garner cooperation from each employee with Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
