With over nine years of experience in the mining industry, I am a skilled and passionate Industrial Engineer who strives to enhance productivity and operational competitiveness. I have a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration and Management, and a Six Sigma White Belt certification, which equip me with the knowledge and tools to apply data analysis and process improvement techniques. Currently, I work as a Production Analysis and Improvement Superintendent at South32, a global mining company that values safety, sustainability, and social responsibility. In this role, I train and mentor resources in the realm of process improvement, with a goal of instilling a culture of ongoing enhancement throughout the organization. I work closely with multiple teams to assess the performance and outcomes of our projects, and re-engineer processes to boost efficiencies, enhance product quality, and decrease production costs. These efforts collectively contribute to the pursuit of heightened productivity and increased operational competitiveness. I also leverage my previous experience as a Mine Planning Superintendent and an Industrial Engineer (Drill and Blast) to facilitate the execution of scheduled mining production plans and the planning of workforce resource allocation. Some of my achievements include improving mine compliance from 40% to over 70% from 2019 to present, and identifying areas of improvement within the mining process and system production cycle.
