About Muna Alhammadi

As the Head of Partnerships at Nabd Organization, I develop and manage strategic partnerships between the organization and its various stakeholders, such as donors, governments, civil society, and private sector. I leverage my analytical skills and negotiation abilities to identify and secure opportunities for collaboration and funding that advance the organization's mission and vision. I am also a passionate climate activist who works to promote climate action and gender justice in Yemen and the MENA region. I am a member of several networks and coalitions, such as the Women & Gender Constituency, the Arab States CSOs & Feminist Network, CANAW, women women solidarity network and the Youth4Climate. I have participated in and led several initiatives and projects related to sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and other environmental priorities to increase food security and resilience. I have also represented the youth and women's voices in various international platforms and events, such as the SB 58, MENA climate week 2023,Youth4Climate 2023,Aidex2023 and the Cop28. I have a Master's degree in International cooperation and humanitarian aid where I learned about the theories and practices of humanitarian action, development cooperation, and peacebuilding.and I did my master thesis on "the impact of climate change on the humanitarian situation in Yemen " where I linked the climate change impact on the situation of Yemen, I have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Sana'a University, which has equipped me with the technical skills and knowledge to use data and technology for social good. I am fluent in French, English, and Arabic, and I have earned multiple certifications from reputable organizations. I am driven by the values of learning, growth, and impact, and I aspire to contribute to a more sustainable, equitable, and peaceful world. I am always eager to expand my horizons, challenge myself, and collaborate with others who share my vision and passion.
