About Munib Malik

With over ten years experience in law enforcement, combined with a Masters of Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources, I offer a unique perspective on the interchange between law enforcement, leadership and business management. My graduate level education has provided me with a strong theoretical and practical understanding of strategic leadership practices, recruitment, change management, and developing/monitoring/improving key performance indicators. Professionally, I am adept at working from a systems perspective, enhancing my ability to work alongside other departments and/or agencies and viewing challenges/tasks through a broad lens. With extensive experience in complex operational planning, both locally and abroad, I have a keen ability to build rapport with governmental, civilian, and law enforcement personnel within and outside the province of Alberta, throughout Canada and internationally. My cross-cultural and multi-lingual background provides me familiarity and ease in working with diverse populations with a unique ability to engage in culturally-informed assessment.
