I am a Regulatory Strategy Specialist having over 20 years of work experience in Telecom & IT Sector with expertise in the areas of Telecom Regulations, Regulatory Policies & Operations, M & As and Licensing compliances. During my professional journey, I have worked with diverse Companies namely Siemens Ltd, Tata Teleservices, Bharti Airtel, Telenor India, Indus towers covering different spheres of telecom sector. In my present role with Tata Communications, I am responsible for designing and execution of Regulatory Strategy, M&A work, Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs & Nodal operations and played instrumental role in proactive Advocacy on various Policy and Regulatory topics impacting the company and engagement with Government and various Industry Associations. I have diverse academic background coupled with in-depth knowledge of IT & Telecom market trends and regulations. I have been a policy and regulatory advisor to company for creating regulatory compliant products and services, ensuring licensing compliances and managed regulatory operations and regulatory litigation for India and other SAARC Countries. I closely work with internal and external stakeholders for necessary policy interventions which are required to support business in quick adoption of use cases / evolving business models for opening of new revenue streams in view of ongoing technology advancements and digital transformation and to safeguard business interest of the company. I have worked in different roles within ICT industry and with the evolving Digital ecosystem, I advocate for digital regulations in view of technological advances and product innovations especially for Data Protection and Privacy framework, cloud-based services, role of AI and ML in understanding the customer behaviour etc. I strongly believe in a teamwork for quick turnaround to achieve organisation goals collectively and have immense importance for integrity and transparency for building the trust and good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
