About Munkhbaatar Batbold

I am a Civil Engineer with over 9 years of experience in construction site supervision, quality control, CAD design, and project planning. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (2015) and have worked extensively in Mongolia and Japan. From 2015 to 2023, I worked in Mongolia as a Site Engineer, Quality Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, and Quality Inspector in underground mining at depths below 1300 meters from the surface. For three years, I worked on a hospital project with a Japanese construction company in Mongolia, collaborating closely with both Japanese and Mongolian coworkers. I used both Japanese and English daily for communication and reporting. Most project documentation was in English, and I frequently prepared detailed reports in English as well. Since May 2023, I have been working in Japan as a CAD Engineer, where I use Japanese daily to communicate effectively with colleagues. This role has further strengthened my technical drawing, 3D modeling, and international engineering skills, while enhancing my understanding of precision design, Japanese engineering standards, and digital collaboration tools. I’m an optimistic and strong team player who easily connects with colleagues to overcome challenges and find better solutions when roadblocks arise. I’m also an active person and played power forward on my high school basketball team, which helped develop my teamwork and leadership skills. In addition to my professional work, I founded a volunteer Facebook club called “Engineering English,” where I occasionally post and share recent construction industry news translated from English to Mongolian to support the community’s learning and growth.
