About Muraduzzaman Masum
I have been preparing myself to establish in the transportation engineering field since I started my Bachelor in Civil Engineering. During my undergrad, I have taken all fundamental transportation engineering courses (e.g, transportation planning, traffic engineering, safety etc.). I particularly enjoyed learning and applying different tools/software (e.g, Choice model, Vissim, ArcGIS etc.) in conjunction with programming languages (e.g, Python, C, C++) to solve real world problems. For instance, I applied econometric modeling to capture the impact of COVID 19 on public transportation ridership in my undergrad Thesis. Based on my satisfactory performance, I was offered to work as a Research Assistant (RA) and Teaching Assistant (TA). At present, I am pursuing MS in Transportation at Texas Southern University along with a graduate assistantship.
