As a passionate Medical Communications Lead with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry, I’ve held roles in marketing and medical affairs at local, European, and global levels with Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, and Takeda. My broad therapeutic expertise spans diabetes, haemophilia, growth hormone disorders, HRT, IBD, Hodgkin Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Crohn’s perianal fistulas, SBS-IF, and ADHD. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to life-long learning, I continuously research and monitor trends within the medical education and event industries, enabling me to swiftly identify the optimal platforms and formats for impactful communication. Through cross-functional collaboration internally and externally, I transform complex content into integrated communication themes that achieve strategic goals and deeply resonate with customers. For me, creativity is about thinking outside the box. I thrive on developing mixed media formats to enhance medical messaging and creating engaging exhibition designs that combine storytelling with spatial design and interactive elements - captivating audiences while educating them. Some of my most transformative achievements include: Developing a scientific curriculum on a novel stem cell therapy uniting gastroenterologist and colorectal surgeons from Europe, featuring pioneering educational materials on stem cells (4-part animation series incl. 3D). Creating a unique live-sized anatomical training model for colorectal surgeons to train in novel stem cell therapy administration. Pivoting medical education from face-to-face to virtual by organizing European multidisciplinary webinar series, virtual symposia and developing interactive educational materials. Expanding the medical education portfolio with CME-accredited medical tutorials in IBD and launching new tutorials on Crohn’s perianal fistulas and SBS. Leading a successful European workstream to develop and roll out Omnichannel measurements and KPIs in Medical Affairs. Creating innovative, fully digital and bespoke exhibition designs at global medical congresses, ranging from 15 m2 to 350 m2.
