I am a PhD researcher in Marine Restoration Ecology at University College Cork, studying habitat restoration in Lough Hyne Nature Reserve. My research builds on experience across public and private sectors in marine conservation and restoration. I am interested in nature-based solutions to climate challenges, marine restoration, marine protected area management, and holistic research approaches. Previously, I served as Marine Lead Adviser at Natural England, managing projects including the £2.5 million EU LIFE-funded ReMEDIES seagrass restoration in Plymouth.
