About Muriel Verain
As a researcher and project leader in Consumer Science I am involved in a range of different project related to healthy and sustainable food consumption. Currently my main research topics are the protein transition and personalized nutrition. Understanding why people eat what they eat fascinates me. In my project I often aim to identify strategies to help consumers towards a more healthy and sustainable food pattern. I have a special interest in food choice motives, differences across consumers (consumer segmentation) and differences across eating contexts.
