I am a hands-on executive, technologist and security practitioner with twenty-five years of experience in global corporations and financial services. Throughout my career, I have been managing and leading technologists to reach the highest standards and confidence in security posture while also enabling business growth and technology expansion and change. I have been managing successful teams for over a decade with significant collaborating with CISO, senior executives and global regulators. I have hands on experience at every level of incident response from governance to running incidents to ground-truth including forensics and log analysis. I have worked as an authentication engineer with experience in RBAC, SSO and multi-factor authentication. In this role I have developed privileged access systems and ran critical infrastructure that all other services depended on. I have significant experience as a Unix and Linux administrator from workstations, grid-compute and super-computers. I have been programming since I was ten years old with experience in BASIC, Unix Shell, Perl, Python and C. For hobbies I enjoy being in nature including hiking, off-grid homesteading and camping. I enjoy collecting and restoring vintage computers.
