About Mya Martinez

My educational background includes a Forensic Psychology degree with a minor in Counseling from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. With experience as a SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) specialist, I led various volunteer projects including canned food drives, clothing drives and mental health workshops. Currently, I work as an ABA Behavioral Technician, where I apply evidence-based techniques to support individuals in achieving their meaningful goals. I am passionate about mental health and these experiences have shown me the value of empathy, patience, and understanding when working with individuals living with mental health concerns. I am also passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of my clients and am committed to providing compassionate and supportive care to them.
