About Mya Ribbink

As a Housing Stability Navigator at the Muscatine Center for Social Action (MCSA), I help individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability to access resources and services that can improve their quality of life. I have been working in this role for over three years, and I have completed a Frontline Leadership certification, a Psychological First Aid training, and many other useful trainings when working in case-management. I am also a certified Notary Public in the state of Iowa. I received my Master's degree in Human Services from Walden University, with a focus on social change and advocacy. I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Iowa Wesleyan University and an Associate's degree from Muscatine Community College. My education and experience have equipped me with the skills and competencies to support others effectively, communicate interpersonally, and maintain confidentiality. I am passionate about the mission of MCSA, which is to provide comprehensive programs and services to empower and transform the lives of the people we serve. I am committed to the field of human services, and I aspire to make a positive difference in my community.
