About Mye Shimura

I am driven by a lifelong passion to contribute to a world where people can connect across borders, embracing differences and even contradictions with respect and joy. This passion stems from my upbringing across the U.S, China, and Singapore, and has been the foundation of my career at ANA, where I have spent more than a decade as a marketing professional creating opportunities for people to experience the value of travel. My journey began as a service representative in call center and ticketing operations, where I learned the importance of engaging sincerely with each customer’s experience. I then moved into revenue management as a pricing analyst, playing a key role in the launch of multiple new international routes—an exciting opportunity to bring ANA’s value to new markets and travelers. Over the years, I have built strong expertise in areas that require analytical and negotiation skills, including pricing strategy, interline partnerships, and investment management in the international issuing business during my secondment at JCB. After returning to ANA, I took on responsibility for Co-branded Card programs, further expanding my experience in partnership management. In addition, I have gained extensive experience in collaboration with partner airlines and joint ventures. Today, I am leveraging this background in project management, leading initiatives to drive Business Transformation (BX) across the organization. I take pride in combining my international perspective, analytical strength, and passion for people to build bridges across cultures and deliver meaningful value through travel.
