I am a senior in Community and Regional Planning at Iowa State University, dedicated to creating sustainable, community-centered urban spaces that prioritize justice and uplift local voices. My passion lies in planning that bridges urban and natural environments, ensuring that development meets the unique needs of each community while protecting the natural world. Originally from Southern California, I’m especially drawn to the Mountain West, where urban growth intersects with rich ecological and cultural landscapes. Through my experience in planning and sustainability initiatives, I’ve developed a strong belief in the power of local knowledge and true inclusive engagement to guide meaningful, resilient change. I bring a technical edge with skills in GIS, data analysis, and design, which allow me to translate community needs and environmental priorities into actionable insights that support just, informed planning.
