About Myra Whiskar

I am a qualified, creative, curious, brave, knowledgeable and resourceful Learning & Development professional and CIPD member with broad L&D lifecycle experience in a variety of sectors. I am proud to be working with those impacted by the Criminal Justice System, especially people who are spending or have spent time in prison. Previous to that, most of my experience has been in the Third Sector and I have also worked for Local Authorities, Social Enterprises and the NHS. My ability and enthusiasm to inspire, motivate and network means that I can use my talent to create and provide innovative, robust, simple and elegant training and/or individual interventions for those wanting to improve their confidence and employability with the added challenge of a criminal conviction. Or those who wish to employ them. I couple this with my interest and experience in providing sustainable solutions to challenging/chaotic situations or goals. These are all probably my favourite things to do. My sense of humour and creativity help me to manage most situations and I'm a believer in open, sensitive and transparent communication and the strength of the human spirit to thrive and endure.
