About Myron Hendry

Global insurance executive and collaborative leader known for building and motivating teams that drive operational excellence and deliver business results. I have intensive experience leading small and large-scale integrations and creating and executing innovative initiatives that invest in cost-saving technology. Throughout my career I was actively engaged with boards representing management in risk, finance, audit and operations and technology committees. I was recently elected to the board of Enstar and am a member of the Risk Committee, as well as the Governance and Nominating Committee. As Chief Platform Officer at XL from 2009-2019, I developed a strong leadership team for the global operations and technology functions, which greatly enhanced efficiency. I led numerous integrations during a period of rapid global growth and fostered smooth cultural transitions by establishing co-leadership roles and building strong teams to support each work stream. I value relationships and the opportunity to coach and mentor others both professionally and within my community. One of my proudest achievements during my time with XL was forming a successful Leadership Listening Program to enhance the professional development of employees and leaders.
