About Nabil Alhamal

I am currently completing my undergraduate studies for Computer Engineering and Computer Science from CSU East Bay in Hayward, California. I also earned my AS in Electronic Systems Technology from Chabot Community College in Hayward. I am interested in opportunities to work in VLSI Layout and Design, PCB Layout and Design, and/or embedded system design and programming. I have worked with circuits for over 9 years. In that time I have repaired many devices and equipment, gaining extensive experience with component and module level troubleshooting and repair. I have developed several projects utilizing micro-controller development boards (such as Arduino Uno, Mega, Raspbery Pi 3, BASYS 3 and NEXYS4 FPGA with Artix 7). I have also built many prototype circuits using breadboards and perforated boards. I have a lot of experience soldering and desoldering with soldering irons and heat guns. I have also assembled many projects in cases built using sheetmetal fabrication techniques, 2D CAD designed acrylic or wood, and 3D CAD designed models with PLA, ABS, or liquid resin. I am very comfortable working with power and hand tools, often using them to build quick solutions to problems that could be more expensive, such as custom drawers to hold battery cells and hangers to hold tape reels.
