About Nabil Guissouma

STB integration activity is about integrating different components and make them work in an efficient way. The task is to either optimise the code for better memory efficiency, better performance or just to make it work correctly (bug investigation). This activity allow me to have a view of good codes and bad codes and basically helped me learn the best practices and moreover to know what kind of coding should be avoided. After this time of integrating other developers' work, i was able to join development team. This allow me to learn how to design new components, or update existing components with new functionalities. When i took the software architect activity, I was able to take care of not only designing new components but also how all components shall behave together and how they should all interact with each other. I had the opportunity to go in india for 6 months to train the NDS indian subsidiary about our software, the building system and french environment in general. During this time, i increased my english skills to be able to communicate with local developers and also learnt me how to share my knowledge with other people.
