Simultaneously function in two high-level management roles for this complex of three nursing home facilities, consisting of Cliffside, Woodcrest, and Forest View Rehabilitation and Residential Health Care Centers • Tasked with devising and implementing cost-savings measures throughout the enterprise • Oversee the purchasing personnel in each facility • Solicit, evaluate and select bids and proposals; sole responsibility for decision-making with contract-signing authority • Review and approve all incoming invoices • Administer pharmacy; assure prior authorizations are in place, troubleshoot, check for less expense generic equivalents of medications prescribed, handle insurances billing • Assure proper maintenance of physical plant at all facilities • Manage maintenance and housekeeping personnel in all facilities; qualify and hire outside contractors when necessary Specialties: Credentials include but are not limited to:* Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, NYS * EMT-B * Dispatcher at Hatzoloh of Flatbush, Volunteer Ambulance Corps * Certified Lifeguard * Team Leader, Disaster Relief, American Red Cross * Notary Public * Filing Representative, Department Of Buildings
