I have achieved a Neurophysiology degree from Turin University - Medicine School in 2015. My internship included thorough training in diagnostic investigations concerning central and peripheral nervous systems in different patient cohort in clinical, surgical and critical settings. More precisely my training was focused on the following areas: intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IOM), awake and sleep deprived electroencephalography in adults (EEG), neonatal and paediatric EEG, EEG in critical area and brain death, evoked potentials (SEPs, MEPs, BAEPs, VEPs), doppler ultrasound and echography studies, sleep medicine, nerve conduction studies (NCS, EMG) and neurovegetative functions tests/autonomic nervous system (ANS). A great deal of training was also focused on less common techniques. The main topics of the program covered a full range of different techniques in therapeutic neuromodulation, diagnosis of peripheral neuropathies and neuropathic pain, uncommon intraoperative monitoring techniques, novel diagnostic applications for seizure detection as well as sleep and vigilance studies. I have been practicing as a Clinical Neurophysiologist in the U.K. since 2016 experiencing NHS Trusts and private clinics, being exposed to a wide range of referrals. I have successfully applied for an internship in Borgo Trento - Verona for further IOM training in vascular, neuro and orthopaedic surgery. In 2018 I chose to join Inomed Neurocare U.K. as a Surgical Neurophysiologist which allowed me to practice with different teams all over the country; I have performed almost 500 cases during this time with particular interest in neurosurgical treatment of vascular pathology, brain-spinal neuro-oncology, awake surgery, CPA tumours and degenerative processes of the spine. In 2019 I have been elected as the OSET Secretary representing Italy in the International Organisation for Neurophysiology. I am also a member of a volunteering team for the non-profit organization Rainbow for Africa UK for long-term, sustainable health change within the African community, for instance, in Kenya. In 2020 I have become the Clinical Director of Inomed Italy and English Lecturer Assistant at University - Neurophysiology faculty. And in 2022 I accepted the role of Marketing Manager for inomed Global.
