Eng. Nada Jasim graduated with Bachelor of Chemical & Petroleum Engineering from the UAE University, Al Ain in 2001 & achieved NEBOSH General Certificate of Occupational Health & Safety, 2004 & certified in Behavior Based Safety, 2004. In addition, Eng. Jasim is Certified Lead Auditor for OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO ISO 22301 & member in IOSH, UITP SecComm & UITP Sustainability Comm.Over the past 15 years, Eng. Jasim has gathered experience in various areas related to Safety, Heath, Environment, Risk & Crisis Management as well Oil & Gas Industry & Aluminum Manufacturing. In addition to her duties, Eng. Jasim prepare & develop systems of crisis & business continuity disaster management at the national level & the level of the emirate & assisted the certification & regulation process of Dubai Metro in terms of safety & operational systemsEng. Jasim is currently Senior Manager of HSE Corporate Polices & Planning at Safety, Risk Regulation & Planning Department of at the Government of Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority (RTA).She has also worked previously as Head of Area Safety at Dubai Aluminum Company (DUBAL) & Technical Manager at Schlumberger onshore Operations in Abu Dhabi – ADCO.Eng. Jasim started her path in Energy & Green economy field back in 2009 via setting the Dubai Roads & Transport Authority requirements & align it to Dubai Government direction in this regards. Her contribution in the field of HSE, energy & risk translated through: •Preparation of HSE Policy for RTA & development of RTA HSE Management System & achieve international certification on OHSAS 18001, ISO14001 & & achieve RTA wide certification•Establish the RTA Safety Award•Involvement in RTA Enterprise Risk Management, Crisis Management System & Business Continuity development & implementation.• Establishment of Green Economy Unit of RTA & develop & Implement the RTA Green Economy Framework• Participate in developing RTA & Dubai relevant strategic Plans
