About Nada Mohsen

Architect, Sustainability Engineer, and Visual Artist with 16 years of experience in architecture and 4 years of experience in sustainability engineering, ESG, and business sustainability practice development. I currently work as an Innovation and Sustainable Design Lead Expert at PGESCO, where I contribute to sustainability strategy, ESG initiatives, sustainable design, and environmental performance improvement across engineering projects.Alongside my professional career, I have always pursued my passion for art. This passion led me to build a parallel creative career focused on painting, illustration, fashion, and surface pattern design.To further develop my artistic skills, I studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts and participated in several art exhibitions, including exhibitions at the Cairo Opera House, Dai Gallery, and the Faculty of Fine Arts. My artwork was also featured in the short film “Painting the Lily”.In 2019, I founded Nada Mohsen Arts through the initiative “Buy Less, Refashion More”, which aimed to transform pre-owned garments into unique wearable art pieces and promote a more sustainable approach to fashion consumption.In 2020, I launched my first fashion collection, combining art and fashion by transforming my original illustrations into textile and surface pattern designs.In 2022, I was selected by Nimblebot to develop and instruct a course on the Coursera platform titled “How to Create a Seamless Pattern Using Adobe Illustrator”.Since 2020, I have also worked as a freelance artist and illustrator with ButtonUp, an Egyptian social enterprise, creating illustration-driven products and collections inspired by Egyptian heritage, culture, nature, and sustainability.Today, my work sits at the intersection of sustainability, art, design, and fashion, reflecting my belief that creativity can be a powerful tool for both cultural expression and positive environmental impact.Portfolio:Behance: behance.net/NadaMohsen88
