About Nadea N.

My journey has always been anchored in a deep love for the ocean and a desire to create meaningful change. In 2020, I took a leap of faith and founded Azura IDN, driven by a vision to empower Indonesia’s coastal communities. Through our flagship program, Nelayan Lestari, we’re weaving green technology—like electric-powered boats—with sustainable fishing practices to tackle environmental challenges, reduce carbon emissions, and improve the livelihoods of fishing families. This passion for impact didn’t appear overnight. I hold a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Kumoh National Institute of Technology, South Korea, where I immersed myself in the intersection of technology and business. My career path took me across diverse roles, from product manager and headhunter to business analyst and technology researcher, contributing to ICT innovation and publishing research papers. In 2017, as Miss Scuba Indonesia, I discovered a platform to combine advocacy with action. I led beach clean-ups, campaigned against single-use plastics, and found my voice in the fight for ocean conservation. Today, my mission is clear: to build a future where coastal communities thrive and our oceans remain vibrant for generations.
