About Nadeem Shaikh

Over 3+ Years of professional environmental health and safety services with a comprehensive master's degree in environmental biotechnology and a postgraduate in occupational health and safety management from Lambton College in Toronto. Presently working as an Environmental health and safety specialist at GFL environmental INC, Richmond, BC. Nadeem is responsible for overseeing the safety and health of over 80+ employees in a fast-paced working environment with the facility collaboratively working with Recycle BC. From providing safety and mitigation of potential safety and operational hazards Nadeem is passionate about providing services to various environmental sectors within the organization. Extremely passionate about sustainability and have a deep understanding of the environmental challenges faced by various organizations today. A few core areas that Nadeem likes to focus on are Risk assessment, hazard identification with providing proper assessment, disability management, emergency management, workplace violence prevention, waste management, and Health and wellness of employees. Conducting tool boxes talks for employee training I am very professional with doing presentations and gathering safety statistics and getting in compliance with provincial and federal OHS guidelines. Carrying international education to getting Canadian evaluation with postgraduate work experience I embark on my journey toward a cleaner, greener, and safer Canada.
