About Nader Ibrahim

I am a visual communication designer and brand specialist. I always find myself trying to bridge a gap—translating strategy into concepts, aligning thinking with making, inspiring and guiding creativity with meaning, or exploring the creative worlds between nature and culture. I’ve always focused on practicing design both as a form of expression and communication, and as a way of thinking about building / making something enjoyable, meaningful, and useful to people.I've worked on many types of projects: brand, web, print, packaging, and animation. I’ve collaborated with brands across both the public and private sectors in NGOs, tech, art & culture, interior design & architecture, finance, medicine, cosmetics, fashion, hospitality, food & beverage, and more.I chose brand design as my main focus because it allowed me to think about image-making from different perspectives and to learn the craft of various graphic design applications. I am particularly interested in the visual language of cities and places. I find inspiration in the storytelling of a well-built website, and I spend way too much time at the supermarket getting carried away looking at labels and packaging.FUNCTIONAL: Brand strategy, creative ideation, design research, visual identity development, visual design, art direction, strategy, 360 brand design (digital/print/built), design thinking (ideation, drafting, prototyping), UI. Design along the full design process (design research, strategy, design to production). Teams, process & project management tools (Miro, Asana, Slack, Airtable).
