Bulgarian born, Nadia Atanasova Ivanova moved to Chicago with her family in 1998. Not understanding a word of English, Nadia never lost her dream of becoming a fashion designer. Being exposed to different environments at a young age she learned to adapt very fast to new environments and developed a desire to learn more about the world. Attending college in London she achieved a better understanding of the world in fashion. Prior to starting nai, she applied her skills working for the legendary Bruce Oldfield and Ioannis Dimitrousis. She also gained the opportunity to have some of her pieces used in a Coca Cola commercial "The Big Splash"​ that aired in South America. Always been a giving person, Nadia grew a desire to help children around the world by participating in her first charity fashion show with Cradle Org UK. Some of her latest charities include the JJ Spirit Foundation in the Seychelles, Africa and the Orange County Fashion Showcase in California, USA. Her work is conceptual and avant-garde but still keeping with the trends unintentionally. Versatile background and experience has helped her to developed concepts for her work. Nadia's aesthetic is inspired by art, architecture, cultures, music, politics, and everything surrounding her. Nadia's work always tells a vivid story. For Nadia innovation always comes first.
