About Nadia Ben Slima

Hello World! I am Nadia Ben Slima. I’m a Computer Science graduate from The City College of New York with over 5 years of experience teaching coding, robotics, and digital manufacturing to students from elementary through college. I started coding as a teenager, briefly studied Medicine, and eventually found my path in technology where I merge software, hardware, and design into meaningful projects. Most recently, I’ve been a Design Engineering Intern at Humanscale, working on product development, prototyping, and ergonomic innovations. I’ve also served as a Project Engineering Co-Op at Collins Aerospace, supporting Falcon 10X and Embraer E2 jet programs, and conducted spectroscopy research at CUNY’s Advanced Science Research Center. My technical background spans Java, Python, C, C++, and web development, with hands-on skills in CAD, 3D printing, CNC machining, and laser cutting. I’m also exploring data science, machine learning, and AI ethics, aligning my interest in technology with human-centered impact. Outside of engineering, I’m a street photographer and designer, where curiosity, exploration, and creativity shape how I approach problem-solving and entrepreneurship. I thrive at the intersection of technology, design, and human experience and I’m always eager to learn, build, and collaborate. Let’s connect!
