About Nadia Oomer

I believe we arrive in each other’s lives because we are meant to cross paths. Therapy for me is where one re-negotiates his or her identity having ultimately transitioned towards a preferred self. My role is to walk alongside my fellow beings, assisting in furthering ourselves to what we are choosing to become. I have 8+ years of experience as a clinical counsellor. I have working in the field for the past 10 years. My work revolves around advocating, counselling and providing resources. I have many modalities that I utilize and therefore approach clients in an eclectic fashion. I have extensive training in trauma, narrative, and feedback informed therapy as well as mindfulness. Further, I have level one and two of the Gottman’s couples counselling training.
