About Nadia Randlev

I thrive on creating structure in fun ways; if you have ever seen one of my very colorful Excel sheets, you would know this! When I have to keep track of many hundreds of ongoing orders, all at different points in the supply chain, it is crucial that I am detail oriented and always have an overview. This way, I am able to catch any pending problems, and solve them as quick as possible. I believe that when my relations with my suppliers, forwarders and logistics colleagues are honest, consistent and focused on working together, we have a higher chance of reach our common goal: to successfully produce, deliver and stock our orders on time. I have always seen the buying profession as the octopus of a company: We work with the designers to make their ideas reality, from master data to samples. Together with sales, we make sure to provide our customers exactly what they want and we share product data with marketing. We work with our suppliers to produce the correct product, we collaborate with logistics to get the goods on stock, and we make sure to pay our invoices with the help of finance. Acknowledging the needs of each department, and their contributions to buying, the “octopus” combines this to successfully fulfill the purchasing process for all orders.
