Background
About Nadia Sayed
As a CANTRAIN Program Designer & Developer at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC), I contribute to a national initiative aimed at advancing equitable access to clinical trials training across Canada. I help design and develop impactful learning programs with an amazing team, that empower healthcare professionals, researchers, and patients with the knowledge and skills needed to actively participate in and support clinical research. With a Master’s in Education specializing in Digital Technology, and a strong background in Ophthalmic Medical Technology and eLearning development, I bring a learner-centered approach to training design. My work bridges the gap between healthcare and education, translating complex concepts into accessible, engaging experiences. In parallel, I lead the Ophthalmic Assistant Program at Centennial College, where I continue to build robust curricula and support student learning through LMS administration and hands-on instruction. My goal is to foster meaningful, practical learning that drives innovation and excellence in healthcare education, technology and research.
