About Nadia Taylor

I was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica. I migrated to South Florida when I was 8 years old and consider Florida my home. I attended Lauderhill Middle and Boyd Anderson (B.A) High School in Broward county; graduating from the IB (International Baccalaureate) program at B.A. with honors. I then attended my dream university-the University of Miami and studied Psychology there; also graduating with honors. I attended and received my Doctor of Medicine degree at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. I then completed my internship and residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL before going on to Emory University for a fellowship. I am board certified in 3 areas; Pediatrics, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (blood diseases and cancer) and most recently Obesity Medicine. I have always maintained a passion for helping people. I believe in a life of service dedicated to the betterment of others. My passion has led me to develop as a holistic doctor that focuses more on lifestyle changes rather than prescription medicines in improving patients’ health. I believe in teaching patients how to make good choices at home that are more impactful than writing a prescription. Being proactive about our health is the best medicine. I have a passion to see each individual achieve their full God-given potential. There are no limits to what we can achieve when we seek God first and allow Him to develop us! Spiritual, mental, physical and financial health! That is what I am all about.
