About Nadine Buizert

I always thought I'd be a web developer, but life had other plans. My path took me to a more traditional IT department and I've loved working in this dynamic environment ever since. My background in communication and multimedia design allows me to facilitate good collaboration. I can translate IT to non-IT colleagues and help them form good requirements for IT solutions. Things to know about me- I enjoy using technology to make data higher quality, more insightful and easier to manage. That's not just a trendy one liner; Implementing data standards and seeing data quality dashboards turn green makes me irrationally happy- I love understanding the data I work with and get to know the industry. For example, now I know how to appreciate a good frame design, what optical parameters in lenses do for your eyesight and GS1 standards for barcodes- I take pleasure in creating data standards and data models. Because I get to be bossy and strict and the data doesn't mind- I am fond of helping others. Seeing a solution save colleagues lots of time or provide data that allows them to do their job better makes me proud- I talk really fast and have classic Dutch directness.
