About Nadine Lyons

I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic education professional with over 6 years of teaching experience, currently serving as Head of Year 1 and class teacher at an outstanding British school in Dubai. I have consistently achieved an "outstanding" rating in my teaching practice for four consecutive years, reflecting my commitment to excellence in education. See: I had previously graduated from the Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, majoring in English and Geography, from St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra. I am dedicated to promoting a positive learning environment and continually embrace new experiences to develop my skills. I have taught in urban and rural locations, therefore I can adapt my teaching approach to satisfy the needs of diverse groups of children. I have worked in esteemed middle leadership roles in Dubai, including the role of Lead Practitioner for Maths, where my main focus was on developing my colleague’s teaching practice in ensuring challenge for all learners was present, assisting them with using assessment to inform their teaching practice, effective and creative planning and ensuring a happy and engaging environment for the children across all areas of the curriculum.
