About Nadine Trottier

Hi everyone, my name is Nadine! I’m currently working full time as a Senior Marine Mammal Trainer and working part-time as a Wellness Coach. Outside of work, I train as a Crossfit athlete and love spending time outdoors in the mountains or on the water. I always had a strong passion for animals and our environment. My passion for nutrition and wellness came organically, as I’ve been a competitive athlete my entire life. However, it was my entry in Crossfit that truly helped me discover the connection between food, exercise and our mental health. Working as a marine mammal trainer also gave me a unique perspective on the value of training, keeping track of nutrition for specific individuals and the importance of positive reinforcement. Lastly, mental health has always been an important subject in my family, with my dad being the first chief mental health officer in Canada. I’ve learnt a great deal from him! Mental health, to me, is just as important as physical health. Being able to combine my passions gives me a unique perspective and a strong skill set, and I am excited to share my knowledge with others!
